1 - Why are there two barcodes on my FedEx label?
We now use a service called FedEx Smartpost to ship packages domestically. FedEx and USPS team up to deliver Smartpost packages to the customer, that is why you see two tracking numbers on the label. The barcode on the bottom left of the label is for USPS and the barcode on the top right is for FedEx.
Please note that expedited orders will only have a barcode for FedEx.
2- Where can I drop off my package?
You can drop the package off at either a FedEx location (click here to see FedEx locations near you) or a USPS location. (click here to see USPS locations near you). The package will ship quicker if it is dropped at a FedEx location. If the order is dropped off at a post office, it will add 2-3 days to the delivery time and may cause delays updating the tracking information. Upon drop off, please make sure to get a receipt so you have proof of when the package was shipped.
Please note that expedited orders should only be dropped off at a FedEx location and should be shipped same-day.
3- Why is it taking so long for my package to be marked as shipped after I drop it off?
When dropping off your packages please always make sure to get a receipt. There are two main reasons why we encourage you to obtain a receipt.
1. Proof of drop off. You will now have legal proof that the package left your possession and is now in possession of the carrier. If the package is lost, you will have proof that you dropped it off. This helps a lot with any claims or disputes with FedEx, USPS, or DHL.
2. Shipping alerts are expedited - If you hand the package to a driver or drop it off without getting a receipt, you have no visibility into when it would be scanned and when the tracking will update, if at all.
