Extended Return Policy

To stay competitive in the market, Shoptiques extends the return policy during the holidays to January 5, 2019. This is a practice we have done for the last several years - in all previous years, we didn’t see an increase in returns. We believe the extended return policy makes shoppers feel more confident in purchasing gifts from Shoptiques and partner boutiques.

If you do not wish to extend the return policy for the holidays, please simply take your boutique offline until the return period becomes close enough to what you are comfortable with. On December 21, the return period will go back to our standard 14-day return policy.​

         Holiday Pro Tips

This year, U.S. shoppers will spend $119.99 billion online in November and December (15.5% increase over last year), according to Digital Commerce 360.  We want you to continue to take a home a larger and larger slice of the pie so here are some tips to help increase sales and make sure we turn each customer into a repeat customer. 

Pro Tip #1- Ship orders same day

Our internal analysis shows that boutiques that ship orders same-day see an average of 30% more sales every month. This is especially important during the holidays as customers are purchasing all season long. The quicker you can ship the items, the faster the customer gets the product, the more likely they are to shop again this season with you.

Pro Tip #3- Discount codes. 

You can create a discount in your Boutique Admin specifically for your boutique. You can create special offers to incentivize customers to purchase more from your boutiques. For example, Spend $200 at My Boutique, and receive 20% off. You should market this code to your customers through Emails, Social Media, and In store to drive more sales. Please note shoppers can only use 1 discount code at a time.

Pro Tip #2- Discount specific products.

Simply reduce the purchase price of an item - those items will show up in the Sale section of Shoptiques, customers who added that item to their wish list will receive an automated email about the price decrease. As long as you mark down your item more than 30% off the product will receive the sale tag on the category page and it will help make your products stand out.

Pro Tip #4- Sending perfect packages

Please package the correct products in perfect condition and as nicely as you can, and always remember first impressions last a lifetime. Please aim to make it a special unwrapping experience for the shopper - if you do, they will feel confident in buying more and more gifts from you during the holidays! We encourage you to add a personal note to the package thanking the shopper for supporting your small business.
